As a Business Development Executive, you will be the driving force behind identifying new business opportunities, generating high-quality leads, and promoting cutting-edge software development services (including Web, Mobile App, and Cloud solutions) to global clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct extensive market research to identify potential B2B clients requiring custom software, web development, and mobile application services.
- Generate quality leads through professional networking channels like LinkedIn, online bidding portals (Upwork, Fiverr), cold emailing, and social media.
- Initiate the first point of contact with international prospects, pitch IT software services, and schedule discovery calls for the technical team.
- Understand client requirements and effectively translate them into preliminary project briefs.
- Assist senior management in drafting business proposals, presentations, and quotations.
- Maintain a clean and updated pipeline in the CRM system to track outreach and lead conversions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly lead generation and communication targets.
Required Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
- High tech-savviness with a solid understanding of software development terms (e.g., UI/UX, Cloud, QA, DevOps, Frontend/Backend, SaaS).
- Proven ability to write engaging, personalized, and professional cold emails/messages.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfort with using standard office software (Google Workspace, MS Office) and CRM tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior exposure or basic knowledge of online freelancing platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, or Guru.
- Ability to handle objections gracefully and pivot pitches based on client responses.
